What "per user or per device" means
Per user fits offices where each person has one computer and a mailbox. Per device fits shops with shared workstations, servers or equipment that outnumber the people. I quote whichever is cheaper for you and show the math. Read the full comparison.
What a fair price looks like
Before you compare quotes, read what managed IT costs in Dallas and how to compare IT support quotes so you know what should be included. If another quote is cheaper, ask what it leaves out.
Pricing questions
How much does hourly IT support cost in Dallas with Cross River Tech?
Remote support is $100 per hour and onsite support is $150 per hour during business hours, Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM Central. After hours, on weekends and on holidays it is $150 per hour remote and $225 per hour onsite. Every break/fix job is billed by the hour with a one-hour minimum, and there is no contract.
How much are Cross River Tech's managed IT services?
Managed IT is priced per user per month or per device per month, whichever fits your office better, and it is month to month with no long-term agreement. I do not publish a flat number because a five-person office with no server and a thirty-person office with two servers are different jobs. Tell me how many people and devices you have and I will send a written quote, usually the same business day.
Is there a contract or a setup fee?
No long-term contract: managed plans are month to month and you can cancel anytime. Break/fix work needs no agreement at all. Onboarding a managed client involves some setup work, which I explain and price in the quote before you decide, never as a surprise on the first invoice.
Is it cheaper to pay hourly or monthly for business IT support?
For an office that needs help a few hours a year, hourly is cheaper. For an office that wants updates, security, backups and unlimited support every month, the managed fee is almost always less than the hours it replaces, and it removes the incentive for things to stay broken. I am happy to run the numbers for your office either way.
What counts as after hours?
Anything outside Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Central: evenings, weekends and US holidays. Remote support is available 24/7/365 at the after-hours rate. Onsite visits outside business hours are by appointment.
Do you charge for travel?
Onsite visits across Dallas–Fort Worth are billed at the onsite hourly rate. If a job is far enough out that travel becomes a real cost, I say so in the quote up front rather than adding it later.
