What I do
Three things I do for small businesses — and the rest that comes with them
Pick the one that matches your situation. Every page explains what is included, how it works and what it costs, with no runaround.
Managed IT Services
Managed IT services cover your computers, server, network, phones, printers and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace for one monthly fee per user or per device.
See how it works Core serviceIT Consulting & Fractional CTO
IT consulting and fractional CTO work gives a small company an experienced technology lead on a part-time basis: strategy, planning, software and vendor decisions, budgeting and the implementation that follows.

Data cabling for new commercial construction and renovations: Cat6 runs from the IT room to every drop, terminated, tested and labeled, with the rack, patch panel, switch, firewall and Wi-Fi set up and working.
See how it worksHourly IT Support (Break/Fix)
Hourly break/fix support is IT help without a contract: you call when a computer, network or piece of software stops working, I fix it, and you pay for the time it took.

I handle the whole IT side of an office move or new-office build-out in Dallas–Fort Worth: the plan, the cabling, the internet order, the phones, the network and every workstation.

I set up, migrate, license, secure and administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace for small businesses in Dallas–Fort Worth, and remotely anywhere in Texas.

See how it worksWhy an owner-led company beats a big MSP
You get the owner. Every time.
Big IT companies rotate technicians through your office and every call starts from zero. At Cross River Tech you deal with me, the owner: I know your setup, your people and what broke last time, so problems get fixed faster and nothing gets lost between shifts.
- One phone number. Mine. No help desk, no hold music, no "I'll escalate that."
- Month-to-month. Managed plans are per user or per device, cancel anytime.
- Remote first. Most fixes happen in minutes over a secure remote session; onsite when it actually needs hands.
- Published hourly rates. No contract needed for one-off fixes. See pricing.
- Over 15 years in IT across many industries and global organizations, now working for small Dallas businesses.
- Honest scope. If something is outside what I do, I say so and point you to the right person.

Based in Dallas. Onsite across DFW. Remote anywhere in Texas.
I am in Dallas (75215) and drive to offices across the metroplex by appointment. Most day-to-day support is remote, which is why I can also support businesses in Houston, Austin, San Antonio and anywhere else in Texas.

Who is the best IT guy in Dallas for a small business?
Nobody is the best IT guy in Dallas for every business. Here is a decision framework, an honest comparison of your three real options, and a plain statement of who I am right for and who I am not.

How much do managed IT services cost in Dallas?
Small-business managed IT in the Dallas market is commonly quoted around $100 to $175 per user per month. Here is what that buys, what moves the number, and how to get a quote you can trust.

Do you need an IT guy on call or a managed IT plan?
Hourly help is cheaper right up until the day it is not. Here is a break-even worksheet using my published rates, the signals that hourly has stopped working for your office, and an honest answer for offices that are genuinely too small for a plan.

Questions to ask before hiring a managed service provider
Seven questions that separate a good IT company from a good sales pitch, what honest answers sound like, and the red flags I would walk away from myself.

What IT support does a 10-person office in Dallas need?
Ten people is the size where informal IT stops working. Here is the concrete build I would put in for a ten-person Dallas office, what is genuinely essential, what is optional, and what is overkill at that size.

How to switch IT companies without downtime
Switching IT companies does not have to cost you a day of work. Read your agreement, collect what you own, overlap the two providers, then cut over on a quiet afternoon.

Straight answers
The questions people ask before they hire us
What happens if Anthony is sick or on vacation?
Support does not stop. Monitoring, backups and security updates run on schedule, my team covers the day-to-day requests, and I stay reachable for anything that needs a decision. Planned time off is announced to every client in advance and onsite work is scheduled around it, so you always know who is looking after you.
How fast do you respond to an urgent problem?
You call my number and either I answer or I call back as soon as I am off the current job, usually within the hour during business hours. I do not put a response-time guarantee in writing, because I only promise what I can keep. What I can say is that managed clients get priority, remote fixes start immediately, and same-day onsite visits across Dallas–Fort Worth are often possible.
Is 24/7 emergency support included in managed plans?
Remote help is available around the clock, including holidays, for every client. Work outside Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM Central is billed at the published after-hours rates unless your written plan says otherwise, and I put that in the quote so there are no surprises. Managed clients also get monitoring, patching and backups that run automatically whether anyone is awake or not.
Do you have backup coverage for vacations or emergencies?
Yes. Cross River Tech is a small company, not a single phone number. Your systems are documented, monitoring and backups run on their own, and my team handles routine support when I am away, while I remain the person you deal with for planning, onsite work and anything important. You will never be left explaining your setup to a stranger.
Is there a contract?
Managed IT is month to month, per user or per device, and you can cancel anytime. Hourly break/fix work needs no agreement at all. Every quote is written and every invoice lists what was done in plain English.
What does it cost?
Break/fix is $100 per hour remote and $150 per hour onsite during business hours, with after-hours rates published on the pricing page. Managed IT is quoted per user or per device after a short conversation about your office, and I show the math before you decide.
Where do you work?
I am based in Dallas (75215) and visit offices across Dallas–Fort Worth by appointment. Because most support is remote, I also support businesses in Houston, Austin, San Antonio and anywhere else in Texas.
Ready for IT that just works — and a person who picks up?
Send a short request or call. I read every message myself and reply personally.
